"It's Not MY Job!"

Have you ever heard anyone say "it's not MY job to do that!" at work? Maybe YOU'RE the person saying it?
Trust me when I say NO EMPLOYER or BOSS EVER LIKES HEARING THAT!!

You can sit back, getting by with minimal work and collect a check, OR you can do something that will not only make you feel good, it will help with your job security AND quite possibly lead to better opportunties and furthering your career. Be a team player... take ownership of your duties and anywhere else you're needed on the job. Be proactive, take charge and get the job done, efficiently and with a great attitude. You'll be surprised on the positive outcome for opportunities at your current job or any future place of employement. You'll be the one that "get's 'er done" instead of the deadbeat that passes the buck.  Your good reputation as a hard worker will follow you everywhere you go.

By the way, being lazy and having poor work habits will follow you everywhere you go as well. Chew on that for a bit.
