This year about 564,800 Americans are expected to die of cancer—more than 1,500 people a day. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the US, exceeded only by heart disease. One of every four deaths in the US is from cancer. Since 1990, there have been approximately 5 million cancer deaths.

 

 

 

Mark Morris, owner and President of Stand-By Personnel, came up with a great idea.

Our first annual Turn Tulsa Pink Potluck & Pumpkin Decorating Fundraiser! All of our employees are asked to bring a potluck dish and pay/donate to enduldge in all the goodies. We'll also have a pumpkin carving/decorating contest and all who particpate will be asked to donate for that as well. Stand-By Personnel will match the total number of dollars donated this day and will donate the efforts of the day to Turn Tulsa Pink. We're excited to be a part of helping them reach their annual fund raising goal. What will you do to help make a difference?
